Attention Elementary Parents---A message from Ms. Wolery about Little Pioneer Volleyball Spring Clinic:
I made a mistake in scheduling and failed to account for the setting up of the school's graduation taking place in the gym this week. As a result, the Little Pioneer Volleyball Spring Clinic originally scheduled for today and tomorrow will be postponed until next week.
The new dates for the Volleyball Spring Clinic will be Wednesday and Thursday, May 22nd and 23rd, same times and locations as previously scheduled.
If your child will be unable to attend on the new dates and you have already paid , please let Coach Richard know and she will refund your money.
My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

A message from the desk of Superintendent Schrock:
If you stop and think of it, each and every one of us owes our thanks and appreciation to those teachers and school personnel who paid it forward to us. In my own life, I can honestly say that I would not be in the position that I am today without those who encouraged and supported me along the way. From Kindergarten and Mrs. Van Veelen, to my 5th grade teacher Mrs. Viets, to Montana State University and Dr. Henderson. Each saw promise in me and encouraged myself and my classmates to do our best and to maximize our potential to make a positive difference in this world.
Here in Big Sandy, Montana we are blessed to have a team of dedicated teachers who by all accounts had those in their formative years who encouraged them as well. I see it in how they establish trust with their students, getting to know the individual and just not the student. I see it in their tireless efforts for those who will go on to be the future of the community, state, and our country. More so, I see the many positive results of our students…academically, socially, and behaviorally. When you see our students’ succeed, please know that their success has been years in the making and along the way they have had professionals who have willingly given of themselves in the service of their students.
So in honor of teacher appreciation week, I ask you to consider those who have positively impacted you and your education and to pay that appreciation forward to our amazing staff who do the heavy lifting day in and day out for our students. We are fortunate to have them and it seems only natural to acknowledge them and their efforts for the betterment of our students, our team, and our school district.
Respectfully,
Daniel Schrock
Big Sandy School District
Superintendent
