Happy Thursday Everyone!
Student council, staff, administration, and our board have been doing a great job working together to help put some amazing activities together for our students for Halloween. You all go above and beyond and it is very much appreciated! Thank you all for everything you do for our school, kiddos, and community! Here is the plan for Halloween day. If you have any questions please let me know.
Elementary School
9:30-Hay rides will be available
1:00-3:30 Carnival
I will have the Student Council helping run things. They will come down and grab each class when it is their turn to come participate in the carnival. Teachers please stay with your class to help keep kids in the gym. 6th graders will be helping to run the games. Thank you Mrs. Worrall and your awesome kids, I appreciate you helping!
6th Grade- Come to the gym at 12:45 to learn how to play your games
There will be no afternoon rotation classes.
1:00-1:30 Kindergarten Come to Carnival
1:30-2:00 1st Grade Come to Carnival
2:00-2:30 2nd Grade Come to Carnival
2:30-3:00 3rd Grade Come to Carnival
3:00-3:30 4th and 5th come to Carnival
Jr. High and High School
1st-4th period classes will remain the same in the morning

5th-6th Period: Class advisors will have their students and be participating in different activities as a class competition. I will get all materials together and have instructions for all activities. If you are not a class Advisor please find a room to help out in. I know Mrs. Schwarzbach needs an extra adult in her room.

7th Period: There will be an announcement for all students to come down to the gym. Make sure students sit with their grade (look for signs for where to sit). This is where we will vote on class activities that students worked on as a group, do a contest for best dressed for Halloween costumes, and the Student Council will lead some fun activities.

Wrestling open mat times: Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30pm-7pm, Sundays 12:30pm - 2pm. Athletes of any age interested in improving their wrestling skills are welcome to attend!

Monday morning, the first day of Red Ribbon Week, Counselor Keane held a short assembly. She told the students the purpose for Red Ribbon Week. Two PAX students helped her give each student a "be smart, be strong, be drug free' red ribbon. Wear red on Wednesday, 10/26, and receive a super cool surprise.

Parents/Families/Community Members - Check out this great opportunity coming next Tuesday the 25th!
Resident Agent in Charge, Stacy Zinn, of the Drug Enforcement Administration will be giving a drug presentation to the students in grades 7th through 12th on Tuesday Oct. 25th in the Big Sandy High School Auditorium at 10:00am. The public and parents are welcome to attend. The students will learn about the different types of drugs present within their community, chemicals used to make these types of drugs and why these chemicals are bad for the body. RAC Zinn will also provide information related to her job in order to give the students a world view on the manufacturing of drugs, the origin of the chemicals used to make the drugs and the destination of drug trafficking proceeds. The goal is to provide factual information in order to build a foundation of knowledge pertaining to the realities of drug use.
RAC Zinn will also be talking to the younger students that afternoon at the elementary school.

Pioneer Football Fans- Tonight's game (Oct 13th) has been changed to JV only.

Pioneer football fans: Please mark your calendars! This week's football game versus Great Falls Central Catholic will be played on THURSDAY night @ 7 p.m.

Friday, September 30, is Chili Feed and a 12:30 p.m. early out. Students riding the bus home will load at the high school with assistance from staff. Students walking home or picked up will be dismissed from the high school football field.
