Elementary Dress-Up Days Update
We want to let our elementary families know about a small change this year. For the Chili Feed, the elementary students will not be participating in dress-up days, with the exception of Purple and Gold Day. Instead, we’ll be saving our dress-up fun for Red Ribbon Week (the week of Halloween), when we’ll have a full schedule of themed days for the kids to enjoy.
We’re excited to celebrate school spirit at the Chili Feed and then dive into an even bigger week of fun with Red Ribbon Week.
Thank you for your flexibility and support as we balance school events and create fun opportunities for our students to shine!
Pioneer Fans! Its' a BIG Weekend for sports!
Friday Night Lights- Cheer on our Pioneers as they battle the North Star Knights! Dress up USA style and pack the stand with red, white and blue spirit!
Saturday Volleyball- Our Pioneers take on the Knights again, this time on the court. Theme is Hawaiian , so break out the leis and tropical vibes!
Let's fill the gym and the field- loud, proud and Pioneer strong!

Important update to Chili Feed weekend: The 2025 Chili Feed will be held SATURDAY, September 27th. Fire truck rides and dinner will start at 4 p.m. at the Jerry Martin Memorial Hall. The football games were moved to allow the community of Highwood to attend the funeral of longtime resident, Ty Malek.
All regular chili feed activites (buddy day, pep assembly and Punt, Pass and Kick) will be held on Friday. Friday will be a half-day of school.

Wednesday: English Muffin Sandwiches and Nacho Gem Supreme
Thursday: Bagels with Scrambled Eggs and Kielbasa Sausage, potatoes and zucchini

And Remember that there is NO SCHOOL on Friday!

Parents- Infinite Campus did some updating to a new system this summer and it may have caused some problems with your parent portals. So, if you are having trouble logging in, please call either Suzanna or Wendy (whichever school has your kids) and they will be happy to help you.
